It is harsh but we have to admit that our society is biased towards good looks. We see a variety of people with a variety of features but still there is constant urge in people to look good. In my opinion striving to look a better version of yourself is not bad at all as it can open doors for various opportunities for most of people.





It is bitter truth that whether you are going for a job interview, going for a dinner we strive to look good to make a better impression. In order to look the best of yourself apart from all other things, self-love and self-acceptance is the most important thing. Never forget that beauty is in the eyes of the perceiver, beholder.

It is important to note that in order to look good you don’t have to go through tons of surgeries, or go under the knife but you just have to look your best by being healthy, put together and happy

Unconditioned, oily, damaged and hair with dandruff can really off put anyone and also your effort to look good. Get a haircut that suits you and structures your face well. Invest in good shampoos and conditioners, oil your hair on the days you are not going out so that they are damage free.

Enhance your features with makeup. No one likes to see a bold eye or a red lip every day. Learn how to do some natural makeup that makes you feel beautiful, invest in nude eyeshadows and lipsticks and get some pinkish blush so that your cheeks look rosy and flushed. Always use a setting spray so that you don’t go around with eyeliner and lipstick smudges and make a fool of yourself.



Get your posture right

After the pandemic and being a couch potato for almost 2 years we have all forgotten how to sit properly and walk with our backs straight. We tend to drop our shoulders down. So in order to enhance your body language and look more confident you must feel tall while standing, keep your head up, suck your stomach in a little and move your shoulders to the back.

We tend to smile when we take selfies and someone takes our pictures ever wondered why? Because, we look and feel more beautiful while showing our pearly whites. Smile more often when you are meeting new people because this gives a positive impression. I am not saying to laugh a loud but a nice smile is the way to go. People who smile give off a very positive, approachable and friendly vibe. Make sure your teeth are cleaned, properly brushed and your breath does not smell foul. Also if you don’t have perfect teeth you can always opt for medical procedure such as braces.
