 Happiness can have different meaning for different people. For example, maybe for one person it is being satisfied with their life and for another person it might be a number of loyal friends who are always there for them. We have gathered some tips to help you be happier by trying to reduce stress in your life. 



Smile 
Usually, people tend to smile when they are happy but many people don’t know that smiling can actually lift your mood because smiling produces dopamine which helps make us happier. The easiest way to feel better when you are having a bad day is to just crack a smile and it will instantly help you feel better. If you are a person who usually has a bad mood in the morning, you can improve your day by making it a habit to start your morning by smiling at yourself in the mirror. 


Exercise
 
Mostly people think that exercise only helps to keep your body in shape however regular exercise may help to reduce stress and anxiety in your life. It does not mean that you have to start lifting weights or go to gym every day, you just have to do some kind of physical activity. The trick is to not over burden yourself and taking baby steps. They can be simple and small things such as good weather or waking up on time or they can also be big things such as having two fully functioning hands or having loyal friends or getting a promotion you were waiting on for months. Being grateful blocks out all the negativities of life and leads you to a happy life.

Performing small acts of kindness helps you to feel more satisfied in your life. Complimenting someone is the simplest way to brighten up their mood. Deep breaths 

Sometimes when people are in crisis, they feel like they are unable to breath and think through it properly. You don’t have to write essays about your feelings just some points about anything which instantly comes into your mind because chances are that these are the things that are stuck in your mind. If these are happy thoughts then you should be grateful and if they are not good ones writing them down mostly takes the burden off your chest and helps you to relax and sleep peacefully.
